Very Soft!, January 14, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Egyptian Cotton 300 Thread Count King Sheet Set Stripe, Mocha (Kitchen) I spent a long time looking for the right sheets. I ordered these based on the previous reviews. I was not disappointed. I washed the sheets in cold water before using. Not sure if they shrunk, but they fit perfect. These sheets are softer than the 400 ct sheets that I bought from Wal-Mart. They are also very warm, almost like flannel. Probably not so good for summer. One thing I noticed is, they are a bit thin, almost see thru, so we will have to wait and see how they hold up after a few washes.
UPDATE! - After only one use, the top sheet is tearing so I am returning. As I stated, they are thin so that may be why they are coming apart.

Fitted sheet barely covers, February 1, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Egyptian Cotton 300 Thread Count Olympic Queen Sheet Set Stripe, Red (Kitchen) These sheets supposedly fit a mattress up to 18 inches. I have a 12 inch mattress with a 3 inch topper. The fitted sheet barely fits. The sides wont even tuck under the mattress and my mattress pad is showing. The corner pockets did barely fit and I hope it stays on. The pillow cases are pretty short too. Don't expect them to fit a queen size pillow. These sheets are pretty thin also. But since they are on the guest bed, I hope they will last for a while. I really do like the color (red), very rich and goes with my red, white and blue quilt. Good quality Olympic Queen sheets are well over $100, so for the price, I like these just fine. Just wish they fit better.
